The Watermark at Logan Square

The Fountains at Logan Square, a 24-story, 458-unit high-rise with superlative views of Center City in the heart of downtown Philadelphia, was procured by The Freshwater Group and Fremont Realty Capital in 2006.

The team began diligent efforts to reposition this rental community in the market, re-branding it as The Watermark at Logan Square, filling key positions with proven senior housing professionals to implement its systems and culture, and forming strategic alliances with the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, and Jefferson Hospital.

An extensive multi-million dollar renovation was completed in 2010, with the goal of emphasizing wellness. All residences were remodeled to accommodate multiple levels of care, a cutting-edge dementia care program was added, and the nursing center was reconfigured to focus more on rehabilitative services. The addition of a 5,000 square foot wellness center and spa allowed for an expanded exercise area as well as massage and therapy rooms. New dining venues improved the quality and variety of food services.

Today, amenities at The Watermark at Logan Square include a solarium and balcony garden, art studio and gallery, theatre, and computer center. Watermark associates promote an active, urban lifestyle, encouraging residents to surround themselves with the best in dining, music, art, and history, and more importantly to express their own creativity and vitality. Members of this elegant urban community in the heart of Center City live life with spirit and adventure.
