The Watermark at Brooklyn Heights
Centrally located in the heart of the prime neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, at 21 Clark Street, the existing building consists of 16 stories and just under 314,000 square feet of space. Since completion of a full renovation and modernization plan in 1998, the property has functioned as a dormitory for the Jehovah’s Witness organization, housing hundreds of volunteer residents in its 295 units. The existing kitchen and dining rooms in this building were used to serve over 1,200 daily meals to volunteers living in this and other neighboring properties that Watchtower owned. The concept plans include a mix of senior living residences.
Watermark has engaged Montroy Demarco, Architecture LLP and Interior Designer Escobar Designs by Lemay out of Montreal and NYC.
Amenity spaces and the proposed dedicated dining spaces will be housed across the ground floor and two below grade levels. All dining for the memory care floors will be provided within the secured resident neighborhoods on each of the two floors dedicated for this use. With well over 50,000 square feet of amenity and common space, multiple programming areas will provide a unique opportunity to bring a variety of world-class programming to The Watermark at Brooklyn Heights.
