Big 3 - The Fremont Portfolio

The Freshwater Group sourced and negotiated the purchase of three continuing care retirement communities on the East Coast for a joint venture comprised of Fremont Realty Capital and principals of Watermark Retirement Communities.

Fremont, a private equity firm based in San Francisco, invested over $150 million to acquire, renovate and expand these three CCRCs: The Watermark at Logan Square in Philadelphia and, in Connecticut, The Watermark at 3030 Park and The Watermark at East Hill.

In August of 2006, the partnership completed the purchase of 3030 Park, the first CCRC in New England located in Fairfield County, Connecticut.  Just one month later the venture completed the purchase of The Fountains at Logan Square East, a CCRC located in Center City Philadelphia. In 2007 Fremont, TFG and Watermark purchased another not-for-profit CCRC, The Watermark at East Hill, in Southbury, Connecticut.
